What is Aerosol Photometer?

An aerosol photometer is an instrument used to measure the light scattering or absorption properties of suspended particles in the air, known as aerosols.

An aerosol photometer usually works by illuminating an aerosol sample with a light source. When the light interacts with the aerosol particles, part of the light is scattered or absorbed. The instrument measures the intensity of scattered or absorbed ligt to estimate the concentration of aerosols in the air.
